F5 launches new license options for BIG-IP LTM Virtual Edition
Since TMOS version 10.1, F5 have provided the option for anyone to register for a free 90 day trial version of the BIG-IP LTM Virtual Edition that runs in VMware. The trial version can be downloaded from www.f5.com/trial. With the release of TMOS version 10.2, F5 are now offering lab, 200Mbps and 1Gbps full commercial versions for production environments. Quadrant Networks are now offering two new cloud based services. The first is a hosted Fortinet FortiAnalyzer service which means you no longer need to invest in a FortiAnalyzer yourself, but you can have the benefits that the product provides. The second is a hosted Aerohive HiveManager which means that you now simply need the Access Points and an Internet connection without needing any additional hardware for central management and configuration.
